I hate USB!

I hate the USB plugs... specifically whatever has to do with USB sticks!!!
There are frustrating! First of all, different protocols that don't work in
different computers. USB3 doesn't work on USB2 and many computers don't have
USB3 support... the same happen when USB2 appeared... but the most frustrating
thing is that after some time the plugs get corrupted/broke/get dirty and they
don't do contact with each other... this way the computer doesn't recognize
the usb sticks and you have to move them while plugged to make contact!!!
which in many occasions may bring disaster!!!

The usb stick may be damaged completely or need a format. In some occasions
the inner connections of the usb stick broke, so you have to hold it in the
"right" position and simultaneously make a prayer, to not move your hand even
slightly! ohhhhhh man... 

Some days ago, i was trying to make a multiboot usb stick... the situation was
for laughs and crying at the same time. Some ISOs worked, others don't but the
most serious problem was that in 3 out of 5 computers/laptops i tried to plug
the usb stick, i had problems and the computers didn't recognize the usb
stick, each one for different reasons.

The other ridiculous thing is, that most manufacturers don't add an LED
indicator for you to know if the usb stick is working or not. I only buy those
with an LED ind.

If i see a laptop/pc with no CDROM and i have to install an OS on it... i
start crying... i can't take it... :`( The situation is similar with the
floppy drives and perhaps even worse. When you inserted a floppy disk in the
drive, you knew immediately if it's being read or not... with USB sticks you
know nothing.

I don't know if i get grumpy, but some new-age technology stuff, gets in my
nerves and i think that the way technology is going is tragic. But more for
that in another day...
